CROWN OPTIONS
Zirconia

Metal-free zirconia crowns. This procedure requires 2 visits:
1st visit. Examining and preparing the teeth.
During your first visit impressions will be made to send to a specialized lab for custom fabrication. The teeth will be prepared and depending on your conditions, temporary crowns may be placed.
2nd visit.
(One week later) Permanent dental crowns.
On your second visit, your permanent crown or crowns will be placed and adjusted to your mouth.
Ceramic same-day crown

PROS
- These are a permanent solution for severely damaged teeth.
- With proper care, you can easily prevent deterioration or infections.
- Does not involve treating the nerves or gums.
- They completely restore the function, shape and size of the original teeth.
CONS
- In some cases, excessive trimming of the original teeth is needed to achieve a better fit.
- Although it is uncommon, if a crown gets loose, with time it may lead to accumulation of bacteria under it.
- Dental crowns may increase sensitivity or reactivity to heat/cold.

1How can I know if I am a candidate for this procedure?

2How should I care for my temporary crowns?
Our specialists mainly recommend avoid chewy or sticky foods and minimize the use of the side of your mouth where the temporary crown or crowns are placed.
3How long do permanent dental crowns last?
Good oral hygiene and routine maintenance are highly important to ensure the success of this treatment. With proper care, dental crowns may last up to 15 years.
4Does your office offer warranty?
Yes, we offer a two-year warranty. You can also purchase an extended warranty on CEREC crowns. We encourage you to ask your dental specialist about your options.
5Which payment method is available at your office?
Visa, Mastercard, PayPal (5% commission), Venmo, and Zelle.
6Do you offer financing?
We do not offer financing at this time.
MY TRIP FAQ'S
1Do I need a relative to come with me on the first trip?
We recommend our patients to come with companionship. If this is not possible our office will take care of it.
2What documentation do I need to bring with me for my first consultation?
Your ID card or Driver´s license.
3Can you assist me with transportation and hotel reservations?
You will be picked up from San Diego Airport by our driver, or we can send an Uber to pick you up at the International border. Additionally, our staff can make reservations for you.
4Can I cross to Mexico with my ID only?
Yes, American Citizens are allowed to cross bringing only their ID. If you are a permanent resident, you will need your Green Card. If you have a different nationality, your passport and legal documentation will be required.
